2021 Chenin Blanc 1.5L Magnum

From the exceptional Two Terraces vineyard, in the Mangatahi Terraces sub-region.
There are only 2.5ha total of Chenin Blanc planted in Hawke’s Bay with Ian and Linda Quinn growing 2 ha of it.

The grapes were foot crushed in picking bins and left to soak overnight to extract
phenolic texture. Whole bunch pressed into old barrels. 

No additions were done at any stage, including sulphur. The wine is unfiltered and unfined.

The Chenin Blanc is textural and mouth filling, with tropical fruit notes, crisp granny smith
apple acidity and a saline finish. Ideal with white fish, oysters, mussels and goat’s cheese.
