Chenin & Gamay Twin Pack

Certified organic grapes from the attentively farmed Two Terraces vineyard. I have had the pleasure of working with this fruit for 4 years and have been applying Biodynamic preparations to my allocated rows during this time.

The Chenin Blanc is foot-stomped & whole bunch pressed into Tinajas (Spanish handmade clay vessels), which maintains freshness and fruit purity. There's tropical fruit with a rich palate finished by a granny smith apple & crisp saline finish. Check the label art for the tasting note!

For the Gamay Noir I chose a traditional technique of carbonic maceration where there is no crushing of the grapes and fermentation occurs within the berry itself before being pressed into large amphorae. The wine has fresh strawberry notes, pomegranate and crushed river stone characters reflecting the alluvial riverbed soils laid down 15,000 years ago.
